Focusing in being more than just a championship, Rock and Waves has always been a fusion of music and sport, linked to a social gathering, which knows no age limits.

Rock and Waves started its journey back in 2011 with a simplified format. After some years presenting the original format, some changes occurred which lead to the rise of Reggae and Waves in 2017, when a new format was introduced. This new format didn’t last long and we went back to the origins in 2019, on a day when wave sports lovers gathered to compete in a friendly manner, with good sportsmanship and ending the night having fun to the sound of a good local rock band. One year later, in 2020, TOLAN gathered once again to honor and remember the good old days.

The next event will take place in 2026, where TOLAN will celebrate its 20th Anniversary.
